Who we are

ContentCamel ("we", "us") operates the content-management platform for brands at contentcamel.com and app.contentcamel.com. For any question about this notice or your personal data, contact us at hello@contentcamel.com.

What we collect

• Enquiries: the name, email, company and message you send via our forms.
• Account data (in the app): your name, email, organisation details, and the brand assets and files you upload.
• Billing data: if you're on a paid plan, our payment processor handles your card details directly — we never see or store full card numbers.
• Privacy-friendly analytics: we run our own first-party, cookieless analytics. We do not set tracking cookies and do not build advertising profiles. Each visit is recorded against a one-way daily-rotating hash of your IP address and browser — we do not store your raw IP address or a persistent identifier, and the hash cannot be reversed or linked back to you the next day.

Cookies

The marketing site and analytics use no cookies at all. The app itself does not use a cookie for sign-in either (your session is held as a token in your browser's local storage). The one exception: secure share links use a single strictly-necessary cookie so a recipient stays signed in to the share they were sent — this is required for the feature to work and is not used for tracking.

Lawful basis (GDPR Art. 6)

• Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) — for contact-form enquiries and launch notifications.
• Contract — Art. 6(1)(b) — to provide the service to account holders and process billing.
• Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) — to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve it via aggregate, anonymised analytics.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising networks. We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider (for account and notification emails), and — for paid accounts — our payment processor. Each is bound to process data only on our instructions.

Where your data lives

ContentCamel is hosted in the European Union. Your brand assets and personal data are stored on EU infrastructure and are not transferred outside the EU without an appropriate safeguard.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production systems and customer data is restricted to those who need it to operate the service. Uploaded content is only accessible to your organisation and anyone you explicitly share it with.

Data retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request. Account and asset data is kept for the life of your account and deleted, or anonymised, within a reasonable period after closure — sooner if you ask us to.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email hello@contentcamel.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Children

ContentCamel is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, children.

We may update this notice as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date below.
