USE CASE
Bring email attachments into the library
Every ContentCamel instance has its own mailbox address. Attachments forwarded there can be reviewed and imported into a project by the team.
The situation
Files that matter arrive as email attachments to individual inboxes: a supplier's logo pack, a photographer's selects, a signed document. They stay there until someone remembers to save them, and often they are never saved at all.
Who this is for
- Agencies
- Marketing teams
- Office administrators
- Event teams
What happens, step by step
- 1
Forward or send the email to your organisation's address, which takes the form your-name@contentcamel.com.
- 2
An editor or administrator opens the mailbox view and reads the message.
- 3
They select the attachments worth keeping.
- 4
They choose the project and folder to import them into, which needs contributor access to that project.
- 5
The imported file is recorded as an asset whose source is email.
